The company has been granted by the Chinese Government a state “863” project - Preparation of Nanometer Scale Polyacrylic Acid Based Emulsions for High Performance Water-Base Wood Coatings. ACI is working on the commercialization of the new technology and production of high performance polyacrylic acid based coating emulsions, which are used as the primary raw materials for the innovative environment friendly coating products.
This project technology develops low content of emulsifier and high solid content acrylic polymer microemulsion (emulsion particle size is smaller than 100 nanometer). It is a kind of self–crosslinking reaction acrylic emulsion, uses for preparing low VOC, high-performance water-base wood coatings, it has the performance of raped drying, quick solidifying and good chemical stability, the basic quota is as follows:

These performance water-base wood coatings which products using this emulsion, have excellent performance like these:
- Nontoxic, not have irritating odor, not contain dissociative TDI, VOC content is almost zero, unafire, real environmental protection.
- High yellowing resistant, do not lose of gloss.
- High solid content, film is full.
- Good property, film is even and uniform.
